Surface treatment
PURE & POROUS™ surface treatment is unique in the industry. The main reason behind the process is to unite the advantages of the widely adopted surface treatment processes in the industry, the porosity of SLA (Sand Blasted / Acid etched) treatment and the cleanliness of the RBM (Resorbable Blasting Media) process were the main reasons to develop the new process. The process proves itself through tens of thousands implanted patients around the world, with very high success rates and short healing periods.
The surface treated in three stages:
Surface forming - RBM treatment, this type of blasting develops mild porosity of the surface and keep the implant's surface clean from biologically incompatible residues.
Implant cleaning - soft acid and de-ionized water cleaning - this step cleans the remaining blasting media by "soft" biologically acceptable acid, that gently removes the residues and leave the surface exceptionally clean from contaminations.
Surface enhancement - the implant goes to the porosity developing etching and final cleaning.
