ARMOSPLINT DENTAL SET FOR FIXATION OF MOVABLE TEETH
Traditional methods are considered expensive or time-consuming, leaving patient comfort in a second place. As for fibers available at the market, considerable differences exist between them. Glass fibre splints are gaining more and more popularity due to their minimal invasiveness, reliable bonding, optimized handling properties and high aesthetics. Fiber splint offers a dynamic and cost effective alternative for stabilizing and replacing teeth.
Periodontal splinting with Armosplint can be successfully used as a part of periodontal treatment. It has been shown that teeth with healthy, but severely reduced periodontium can be maintained with the aid of splints or fixed bridges. When splinting traumatized teeth, reliability, aesthetics and patient comfort are the decisive factors. The extremely thin and aesthetic Armosplint is the optimal choice for labial splints in trauma cases. If the splint is bonded interdentally you will get a more rigid splint, which is the case, for example, when the root is fractured. When the splint is no longer needed it can be easily removed.

FEATURES:
Armosplint set contains everything for the treatment: glass-fibre, liquid for fibre wetting, flowable LC composite, and adhesive system.
Armosplint glass fibre features good flexibility and bonding to the uneven tooth surface, high compatibility with any flow composite material, ability to be polished when not covered with composite, water-proof structure, transparency, and hypo-allergenicity. The fibre can be stored and handled as usual. It is measured by means of explorer or soft foil and is easily cut with scissors. The fibre should be moistened with a special liquid to ensure excellent bonding of glass-fibre and composite.
Armosplint liquid composite is light-cured dough of low viscosity (A2 VITA shade). The compound is a polymer-based bonding agent, modified by a fine filler. The composite features good flowability providing its even application to cavity walls. The composite is compatible to all light-cured composites and compomers and can be used in combination with above-mentioned materials. The composite should be applied after tooth treatment with adhesive.
Armosplint adhesive system comprises primer and adhesive providing good bonding of composite and tooth tissues. Primer moistens dentine surface penetrating into dentine canals due to polyfunctional hydrophilic oligomers. The adhesive contains hydrophilic molecules, polymerizing resins providing a chemical bond with composite.

Instructions for Use:
First you must clear the teeth surface, then the area should be treated with fluoride-free abrasive resin.
The operative field must be isolated from saliva.
Then apply the etching gel of etching liquid on orthophosphoric acid base on the tooth surface for 30-40 seconds.
When finished, wash the teeth surface and dry them with compressed air flow.
When the surface is prepared use the applicators to put on the primer for 10-20 seconds, and then dry the area with a weak air flow for 5 seconds.
The surface should become glossy. If it did not turn to be glossy or you are not satisfied with the result of the primer then the primer can be applied once more.
IMPORTANT NOTICE! Do not wash off the primer.
When the preparation procedure is finished you can use the applicators to put an adhesive to the teeth surface and light cure it for 20 seconds.
Now you can take the splint of the necessary length and treat it with the wetting liquid on a clean glass plate. Excess liquid should be removed before the splint is applied.
Light cure liquid composite needs to be applied to the etched teeth surface when the composite is on the teeth surface place the ready wet splint on the composite under pressure and polymerize it with a lamp (400-450nm) for 30 seconds.
The polymerization time cannot exceed 60 seconds.
The leftovers of the composite can be removed.
The over-crown splint is needed to be placed on teeth excluding occlusal surfaces.
Avoid splint contact with the gums to prevent the irritation.
