DSI ApexPaste Calcium Hydroxide Root Canal Filling Material with Iodoform 2 x 3g Syringes
DSI ApexPaste Calcium Hydroxide with Iodoform is a temporary root canal filling material with excellent radiopacity. It is an antibacterial premixed paste composed of calcium hydroxide with iodoform.
It is used as a temporary dressing as per apexification procedures in endodontics. It is also used for treatment of chronic periodontitis and for injured pulp regeneration and pulpitis on both permanent or underdeveloped teeth.
High calcium hydroxide content in the DSI ApexPaste structure creates alkaline medium that provides a long antibacterial effect of a material increases regeneration ability of the pulp and stimulates the formation of the secondary dentin.
DSI ApexPaste comes in a pre-filled 3g syringe for easy delivery directly into the canal with the flexible plastic, ultra-fine Luer-slip needle tips included.
Uses:
For direct and indirect pulp capping and pulpotomy.
Apexification and hard tissue formations.
Momentary or long-lasting filling material for an infected root canal.
Treatment of root resorption.
Acid protection when applying etch procedure.
Flawless cavity liner under all filling materials.
