Plain Catgut Surgical Sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular and neurological tissues ensures wound support for 7-10 days. Complete absorption is accomplished by a proteolytic enzymatic digestive process within 90 days.
